WHAT:
YMCA Roll Practice
WHEN:
March 1st, 8th,15th, and 22nd, 2020 (4x Sundays) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM
First three sessions target at whitewater boats only.
Sea kayaks (long boats) only on the 22th.
WHERE:
Valley YMCA Pool. Park on the south side of the building and bring your gear in through the glass doors to the pool not the main entrance.
WHY:
Practice your roll and brace strokes getting prepared for the spring runoff.
WHAT TO BRING:
Clean Boat, skirt, paddle and PFD
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
The event will be supervised with limited coaching and advice. There will also be limited group gear. Contact the leader ahead of time if you need to borrow something.

Yakima Water, Wheels, and Wine Triathlon
WHEN:

WHERE:
Yakima River Canyon
WHY:
Paddle the Yakima River early on Saturday morning, winery visits Saturday afternoon, followed by "Your Canyon for a Day" bike ride on Sunday.
This is a class one paddle on moving water. You must be comfortable on moving water, wear a pfd, and have an emergency whistle.
The bike ride is a fundraiser for Yakima Crime Stoppers and the canyon is closed to thru traffic. There is a separate registration and fee for the bike ride. We start the ride at the Yakima end of the canyon. Your registration will ask you that. We will camp in the canyon and you will need to reserve your own site.
