We will launch from the north side parking lot of Liberty Lake at 10 am.

All paddler skills are welcome. We are happy to help newer boaters.

Amenities: Ample parking and restrooms are available at the put-in.YOU MUST STAY WITH THE GROUP AND WEAR A PFD & WHISTLE.

REQUIRED:

• Type of Boat: Recreational and up. Kayak or Canoe or SUP

• Current SCKC Meetup membership & WAIVER. Membership is $20/year. Please pay ahead of time to avoid extra work for our volunteer coordinators. https://www.meetup.com/spokane-canoe-and-kayak-club/

• Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible for choosing outings they can handle comfortably and assumes full responsibility for their participation.

GENERAL INFO: Please read through this full message at least once a season.

• Dress for cold water temperature and weather. Proper apparel is a necessity. I may ask that you walk into the water before we venture out on the lake.

• Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, spray skirt, emergency contact info, water shoes, sunglasses with retainer, drinks and snacks.

Cancellation/updates: Wind, very cold temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, I will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.

NOTE: If it is windy, inflatable or "bathtub" boats (i.e. the ones that have no way to steer!) are not recommended. If you are wondering about the wind, check it out on the Windy App https://windy.app/.
