Amenities: Parking is tight so carpool if you can. Restroom are available at the put in.
This is an intermediate & continuous paddle along the shores of Bead Lake, a clear and cold water lake, developed on one side but not the other. We'll stop for a bite and brisk swim at an undeveloped spot. Expect to be paddling for approximately 3.5-4 hours.
Arrive early enough to launch at the start time. We are happy to help unload and load your boats.
PARTICIPANTS MUST STAY WITH THE GROUP AND WEAR A PFD & WHISTLE WHILE PADDLING.
Type of Boat: Touring or Sea Kayak or Canoe

Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible for choosing outings they can handle comfortably and assumes full responsibility for their participation.
GENERAL INFO: Please read through this full message at least once a season.
Dress for water temperature and weather. Bring a change of clothes & towel (in case you get wet).
Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, Spray Skirt, emergency contact info headlamp, water shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer, drinking water and snacks.

Cancellation/updates: Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, the Host will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.
