Intermediate paddle from Lincoln Mill to Hawk Creek
Details
Bring a lunch and drink for the trip.
Lake Roosevelt boat launches require a federal boat launch pass.
Amenities: Restrooms are available at the put in.
This is an intermediate paddle along the shores of Lake Roosevelt, which can get windy and choppy. This is not a beginner event. Spray skirts are recommended and an experienced paddler skill level. This is a desolate section of the river with rocky cliffs. Expect the possibility of difficult conditions. We'll stop for lunch in scenic Hawk creek inlet Expect to be paddling for approximately 4 to 5 hours. 8 to 10 mile total distance.
Arrive early enough to launch at the start time. We are happy to help unload and load your boats.
PARTICIPANTS MUST STAY WITH THE GROUP AND WEAR A PFD & WHISTLE WHILE PADDLING.

Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible for choosing outings they can handle comfortably and assumes full responsibility for their participation.
GENERAL INFO: Please read through this full message at least once a season.
Dress for water temperature and weather. Bring a change of clothes & towel (in case you get wet).
Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, Spray Skirt, emergency contact info headlamp, water shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer, drinking water and snacks.

Cancellation/updates: Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, the Host will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.

From WA State Rte 2, 18.3 miles east of Davenport, turn north on Miles Creston Road for 3.1 miles, then left on Welsh Creek Road for 4.1 miles, to and then onto Redwine Canyon Road for 4.4 miles, staying right at a junction.
