This is the first of our fall 2024/winter 2025 clinic series. Clinics are available to SCKC club members free of charge. Space is limited as this will be held in my garage.

Session #1 topics : deck lines, bungee cords, rudder lines, rudder disassembly, footpegs, and skeg lines.

The next clinic in November will be about kayak materials and how to repair defects, cracks, and wear.

The first hour of session #1 will use one of my kayaks for demonstration purposes. The second hour will be open for any of the attendee's kayaks.

If you want to bring a kayak needing repair, I will assist you in its repair or discuss the necessary procedures in order for you to do the repair at home. I will choose which kayaks to work on for this class which will be of the most educational benefit to the class. There may be a charge for materials used on your kayak of course.

The clinics are meant to be educational in nature. If all you want is a repaired kayak, then this class is not for you.
