Nine Mile dam at W. Charles/W. Carlson road flat water evening paddle
Details
This will be a 2 hour flat water sunset paddle departing from the launch site adjacent to the Nine Mile dam. Take the W. Charles road exit from 291, and immediately turn left on w. Carlson. Parking lot is on the left.
A Discovery Pass is required, as is pfd, whistle, and headlamp. Sunset is 7pm. Please arrive by 5pm so that we can depart at 5:30.

Please arrive early and be able to start at 5 pm. Restrooms are available at the nearby park on w. Charles road.
For safety reasons we will stay together on the water.
Good Items to Bring: Headlamp, dry bags, spray skirt, emergency contact info, sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer, and water.
Upon our return, we will load the kayaks and we will enjoy a snack together after.
Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible for choosing outings they can handle comfortably and assumes full responsibility for their participation.
Cancellation/updates: Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, the Host will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.
Upon our return, we will load the kayaks and many will choose to bring a snack and a chair to commiserate.
