Silver Lake flat water paddle
Details
This is a mid afternoon paddle at a local lake. We will launch at the boat ramp at 1 pm this Thursday. Directions: From I-90 take exit 270, Four Lakes / Cheney. Go south a few hundred yards on Highway 904. Turn right onto Medical Lake – Four Lakes Road. Go 3.8 miles, over a bridge that crosses the north end of Silver Lake, then immediately turn left onto Freeman Dr. Turn left at the Public Fishing sign. Discover Pass required. We will keep a steady pace for the 3 hours. If the group is large, we'll splint into faster and slower groups.

INDIVIDUALS MUST STAY WITH THE GROUP AND WEAR A PFD & WHISTLE WHILE PADDLING.
Type of Boat: Recreational and up. Kayak or Canoe

Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, Spray Skirt, emergency contact info, headlamp, water shoes, change of clothes & towel (in case you get wet), sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer.
Always bring drinking water and snacks.
Membership is $20/year. Please pay ahead of time to avoid extra work for our volunteer hosts. https://www.meetup.com/spokane-canoe-and-kayak-club/Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible to choose outings they can handle comfortably and show up at the put-in prepared and responsible for what the event entails.
Cancellation/updates: Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, the Host will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.
