This will be a 5 hour flat water paddle departing from the launch site at Fort Spokane boat launch. A Discovery Pass is required, as is pfd, and whistle. Please arrive by 10 am so that we can depart on time

Restrooms are available at the park. For safety reasons we will stay together on the water.

Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, spray skirt, emergency contact info, sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer, and water.

We will take a break for lunch along the beach.

Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible for choosing outings they can handle comfortably and assumes full responsibility for their participation. This is not a beginner level level paddle. The river can get choppy quickly and the wind can pick up. Your canoe or kayak speed should be 3 knots with a 2 hour endurance ability. Some inflatables and paddle boards may be able to do this, but not most.

Cancellation/updates: Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, the Host will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.

Upon our return, we will load the kayaks and many will choose to bring a snack and a chair to commiserate.
